Three-time Grammy Award-winning violinist Hilary Hahn brings her expressive musicality and technical expertise to the first performance of her virtual 3-concert residency. Hahn's residency is an exclusive series for the Philharmonic Society which will feature the premiere of a new commissioned piece by composer Michael Abels, who is best known for scoring the Academy Award-winning film Get Out and the highly anticipated follow-up Us, for which he was awarded "Discovery of the Year" at the 2019 World Soundtrack Awards.
