Registration is now open for the 2024 Youth Orchestra Confab, hosted by the San Luis Obispo Youth Symphony on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the SLO Performing Arts Center Founders' Room.
The registration fee is $50 for ACSO Members and $75 for Not-Yet-Members. The deadline to register is April 25.
This one-day learning and networking experience is designed by and for those who manage youth orchestras or work in orchestra youth education. It is a time to gather together and discuss a wide range of issues and ideas that are specific to working with youth in the orchestra field. It's also a wonderful way to network with your peers, share resources, policies, and best practices, and brainstorm solutions to common challenges. See the overview agenda below.
Who should attend?
Youth orchestra administrators, board, and volunteers; orchestra education staff; anyone working with young musicians and youth audiences in an orchestra setting.

ACSO has reserved a block of rooms for May 2 ($89.99/night) and May 3 ($149/night) at the Hotel Buena Vista in downtown San Luis Obispo.
