2023 Youth Orchestra Confab

Friday April 21, 2023 | Fresno State
Hosted by Youth Orchestras of Fresno

After five years, ACSO's Youth Orchestra Confab is coming back in 2023! The last time we gathered was at the 2018 Confab hosted by the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestras at Davies Hall (pictured here).

This year Youth Orchestras of Fresno will host the Confab on Friday, April 21 from 10 AM - 4 PM at Fresno State, equidistant from both the Bay Area and the LA Metro Area.

Who should attend? Youth orchestra or ensemble administrators, board, and volunteers; orchestra education staff; anyone working with young musicians and youth audiences.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

This one-day learning and networking experience is designed by and for those who manage youth orchestras and music ensembles, and for orchestra education staff. It is a time to gather together and discuss a wide range of issues and ideas that are specific to working with young musicians and youth audiences. It's also wonderful way to network with your peers, share resources, policies, and best practices, and brainstorm solutions to common challenges.

The day will include presentations on CA Prop 28 and DEI practices for youth orchestras.

Questions? Contact us at (800) 495-2276 or [email protected].
